Late model AMC 35's use a 7/16 inch ring gear bolt. This carrier uses 3/8 inch bolts.

To use this gear set with a factory gear set that uses 7/16 inch bolts you will need to ream the ring gear bolt holes out or purchase a gear set that uses 3/8 inch bolts.
