This pair of replacement pinch clamps secures the propeller shaft (driveshaft) slip yoke boot on 2001-2007 GM trucks. The clamps hold both ends of the boot tight to the shaft so grease stays in and dirt, water and road salt stay out of the slip yoke splines.

Benefits

A propeller shaft boot is only as good as the clamps holding it. A loose, rusted or reused pinch clamp lets the boot slip, which lets contamination into the splines and leads to wear, clunking and premature slip yoke replacement. Pinch clamps are designed to be crimped once, so install new clamps whenever the boot is replaced or the driveshaft is separated at the slip joint.
